Our project is about age and how it can affect the amount of time it takes for people to perceive and solve optical illusions. We chose this since we're both interested in the relatively unfamiliar topic of optical illusions and how different people's brains process them. Our result is that age does affect solving time, with the 30-49 age group being the fastest, and the 50-69 group being the slowest. Our project helps us understand how our brains function during various life stages and how changes can impact our everyday lives. Keywords: optical illusions, brain processing, solving time, possible impact

  1. This a really cool neuroscience project. Good job with compiling the illusion images for this study. Welldone!

  2. Your project shows impressive depth and clear scientific thinking! You did a great job explaining how the brain changes with age and connecting that background to your results. I especially liked how thoughtfully you analyzed why some age groups performed differently than expected. Your careful procedures and ideas for future research show strong curiosity and excellent problem‑solving skills. Wonderful work!”
