1. Strawberry extraction and visualization 2. I was interested in DNA after reading the story of Rosalind Franklin. 3. DNA can be extracted from strawberries and can be seen better underthe microscope with DAPI stain. 4. It's important to be able to visualize DNA under the microscope to detect diseases and discover new medicines. Keywords: DNA Extraction, Strawberry, Microscope, DAPI Stain

Your technical execution of this project was outstanding! Successfully using DAPI dye and a confocal microscope is a very advanced skill for a 4th grader. I also loved your connection to Rosalind Franklin. It is great to see young scientists inspired by history’s great researchers.
Absolute curiosity, courage, and a willingness to explore something that sounds very advanced even though absolutely doable at your level.
You chose a challenging and exciting experiment. You handled it like a real scientist, made a prediction, used real laboratory techniques, and explained what happened clearly.
Flourescent DNA‑binding dye can make the DNA easier to see under the right light, the dye glows where DNA is present.
A curiosity, did you think about what did the DNA looked like before and after staining..
Proud of your curiosity and a very impressive experiment.
Congratulations on performing such advanced laboratory work! Successfully extracting DNA and using a confocal microscope to see the “blue glowing” strings shows a high level of technical skill and curiosity. good job!
