In this science project, we learned about magnets. We wanted to find out how strong a magnet is. First, we learned that magnets can pull some metal objects. Then we tested a strong magnet by rolling a metal marble toward it. We watched to see how far away the magnet could pull the marble. We measured the distance using Unifix cubes. We tested the magnet more than one time to make sure our results were the same. We learned that the magnet is very strong because it can pull the marble from far away. We also learned that magnets can be dangerous and that scientists must follow safety rules.
