Who Has the Most Magnetic House? A Group Geological Study.
Plants and the Environment- Grade:
- PreK
- Teacher:
- Benjamin Collinsworth
1. Our project is about sampling and comparing the minerals at our homes. 2. Our project was based on our students' interest in magnets and geology. 3. We found that one student’s house is far more “magnetic” then the others. 4. It is important to know about properties and minerals and to think about the land we live on. Keywords: earth, science, geology, magnets, minerals, natural resources, preschool.

I really like that you included each child’s family in your research project. Bringing soil samples to see how much magnetic material they have at each house is a great idea.
Love the investigative methods. Just like real scientists!
The topic is not only interesting but it opens up piles of thought and inquiry for the young students.
Thank you for testing your homes to see if you have the most magnetic house in your class! Stay curious.
Great exploration in the world of magnets and what is magnetic. Good work!
