Our project is a about which baseball bat, aluminum or wood, is best for bunting. We chose this project because we like baseball and wanted to know which bat to use. Our results were the aluminum bat did better at bunting the ball than a wood bat. Our project is important because many people love baseball and this could help them with strategy for a game or or when practicing hitting. A bunt is different that a hit and that could change which bat you would use.

  1. This project explores a practical and engaging question that connects science with real athletic performance. You clearly identified your variables, conducted hands-on testing, and collected measurable data to compare aluminum and wooden bats. Presenting your results visually shows strong effort and thoughtful organization.

What stands out most is that you tested your idea with real data rather than relying on opinion. That curiosity and initiative are excellent scientific qualities. Keep experimenting, refining your methods, and asking deeper “why” questions — you are building strong scientific thinking skills.
