Our project is about testing which brand of toothpaste cleans teeth the best by comparing Colgate, Crest, and Tom’s toothpaste. We chose this project because we were curious to see if toothpaste brands really matter or if they all work the same, since many people use different brands every day. To test this, we used stained eggs to represent teeth and brushed each one with a different toothpaste for the same amount of time in multiple trials. After five trials, we found that Crest cleaned the eggs the best overall, even though the other brands also worked in some trials. Our overall conclusion is that while most toothpastes are similar, Crest was the most effective in our experiment. This project is important because it helps people make smarter choices when buying toothpaste and shows how scientific experiments can be used to test everyday products.

You did a great job designing a clear and organized experiment to compare different toothpaste brands. Using eggshells to represent tooth enamel was a creative and well-known model for studying how teeth can be cleaned. Your project shows strong effort in planning variables, repeating trials, and carefully recording results. This investigation connects science with daily health habits like brushing teeth, making it a very practical and interesting project.
