The project is about water filtration. I chose the project because the water is very polluted or dirty to drink in some parts of the world. My result was all three tests cleaned the water but you should still boil it. It was important to me because safe drinking water is scarce.
You tackled a very important global issue and supported your project with strong background research and thoughtful experimentation. I was especially impressed that you retested your original rainwater sample when the results seemed surprising, which shows real scientific integrity. Your comparison between natural filtration and commercial products was creative and meaningful, and you did a great job reflecting on unexpected findings like the phosphate increase with the Lifestraw. Nice work
This project investigates an important real-world problem by exploring different methods of water filtration and safe drinking water. I liked how you compared multiple filtration approaches and reflected honestly on your results, including when your hypothesis was not supported. Your discussion of challenges and additional questions showed strong scientific curiosity and critical thinking.
