This project investigated whether different types of cooked rice: white, brown, and red, could serve as effective growth substrates for basil plants. Over three weeks, plant growth was measured weekly to compare development in each type of rice. The results showed that basil grown in white rice had the fastest growth, followed by brown rice, while red rice produced the least growth. The study suggests that nutrient availability in the rice may influence plant development.

Really interesting and creative idea! And good follow through on your weeks’ long experiment.
