Imagine opening your fridge, grabbing a carton of milk, and realizing that you are holding the key ingredient for making plastic. This does sound impossible, but science has a way to turn something ordinary into something extraordinary. Long before modern plastics existed, people used this natural polymer to make buttons, jewelry, and even decorative objects. In this project,, we will explore how the simple protein in milk can be turned into a plastic-like material.
