I made elephant toothpaste using hydrogen peroxide, yeast and dishwashing liquid. I experimented to see if using different amounts of hydrogen peroxide and different strengths of hydrogen peroxide would change the speed of the reaction and the amount of foam made.

  1. The experimental design was great, but the Yeast type changed mid-experiment, which made measurements inconsistent. You did a great job explaining why more peroxide makes more foam. Your reasoning showed you understand the chemistry behind the reaction. I appreciate that you were honest about the yeast changing and the foam overflowing. Great job !
