The objective of this experiment is to determine whether hand expressing or using an electric pump is more effective at extracting milk from my dairy goat. This experiment will compare the total milk collected, the time it takes, and the stress level of the goat during milking. By measuring these factors, I hope to determine which method is more efficient and least stressful for the goat.
As someone who showed goats in 4-H in the past, I especially loved this project and could really appreciate the work and care involved.
