1. What is your project about? My project is about how to keep your hands and cactus safe from harm. So basically how to transplant a cactus to another spot without any damage to your hand or cactus. 1. Why did you choose this project? I chose this project because I did something similar in 3rd grade and got 3rd in SARSEF. 1. What was your result/ overall conclusion? My overall was testing to see what product worked the best and kept your hands and cactus well. Every product worked out well as I thought they were. 1. Why is your project important? (Remember to put keywords for search!) My project is important because it is something that can help people who love to garden. As well as it is easier to not have to risk getting your hands dirty or damaged. This will help the environment to stay safe and clean.

You showed strong engineering thinking by creating three different prototypes, testing each one, and reflecting on what worked and what didn’t. I was especially impressed that Prototype 3 fully protected your hands from thorns, which shows your redesign process was effective. You also did a good job recognizing trade-offs, like how thicker material improved safety but made gripping harder. Overall, you demonstrated creativity, persistence, and real problem-solving skills.
