We made three versions of a fly trap to determine which material would attract flies more, allowing us to catch them in a trap.

This is a well-organized and thoughtfully executed Grade 5 experiment with clear variables, data collection, and honest reflection on limitations.
This is a strong and well-designed experiement, the variables were controlled and the result was clearly explained. Seasonal timing limited results bt the team shows good scientific thinking.
I am so proud of your team for working hard even when the weather made it difficult! Real scientists often have to deal with the seasons changing their plans. Your discovery that maple syrup is the most attractive bait will be a great help to anyone trying to keep flies away from their backyard!
