We noticed snails eating butter lettuce faster than celery leaves so we wanted to know which food (celery leaves and butter lettuce) will help increase the height of a baby garden snail’s shell.

This is a strong and well-organized Grade 5 experiment with clear procedures, repeated measurements, and supported conclusions.
This project asks an interesting question about snail diets and shell growth
Your project was a delight to read! Measuring shell growth in millimeters over several weeks shows a lot of patience and precision. I also loved your background research on snail diets—it’s very important to know what foods are dangerous for them. Brioche, Mocha, and the rest of the gang are clearly well-fed at the Snail Diner!
