The Paper Airplane Difference

For my science project, I wanted to find out if wing shape affects how a paper airplane flies. I made three different types of paper airplanes with round, square, and rhombus-shaped wings. I made three planes of each type and flew each one. I measured how long they stayed in the air and how far they traveled. I discovered that the square-winged airplane stayed in the air the longest, with an average of 77 seconds. The round-winged airplane flew the farthest, with an average of 66 inches. This experiment showed that wing shape can change how a plane flies.
