This project is about if believing you’re lucky helps you see better opportunities. I chose it because I noticed that if im thinking about something, I’m more likely to see it (like when I’m thinking about cyber trucks they stand out to me on the road) and I wondered if thinking I’m lucky makes me see good opportunities more. My project showed me that people who think of themselves as lucky are almost twice as likely to see the “luck factor” than those who don’t.

Your sample size of 99 people is professional! You proved that a positive mindset actually helps people spot opportunities others miss.
Your experiment touches on psychology, mindset, and how beliefs influence behavior.
The Baader‑Meinhof effect is a real thing researchers study, and your curiosity about it shows strong scientific thinking.
Good job.
Your investigation into optimism was very original and creative! Using a digital survey to reach nearly 100 people is a major achievement for a young researcher, and your “luck factor” images were very clever. Well done.
I love this Gwen! I often think about how a Positive Mindset influences the outcomes of a person’s life, and you set out to prove it! Good job!
