The Light Fight: Which light source reigns supreme for plant growth?

In this project 5 different types of light sources were tested on sunflower growth from seed to flower. Over a 9 week period plants were measured weekly to determine which light source was most beneficial to the growth of the sunflowers.

  1. The student clearly documented plant growth and compared multiple light types- well done!

  2. The project had excellent photographic documentation showing plant growth week-by-week for each light condition. Good observation of different outcomes with each light (fluorescent = thickest stems, LED mix = closest to sun height).
