"1. My project is about how olive oil can block harmful light towards algae. 1. I chose this project because I was interested in studying UV light in terms of biology. 2. My overall conclusion was that the amount of olive oil in a solution will not affect the photosynthesis rate of Chlorella vulgaris algae beads because the UV light is not harming the algae beads. 3. My project is important because it can be used to study how potential pollutants could affect an aquatic ecosystem. Key words: Chlorella vulgaris, algae, ultra violet light, and olive oil."
