My experiment was about how different type of fertilizers could effect the growth and development of bean plants. The fertilizers used in this experiment consisted of commercially available fertilizer, banana skin, and chicken manure. I hypothesized that the plants that received the chicken manure fertilizer treatment would have better growth and development than the other fertilizer group and control group. The experiment ran for a total of five trials per group. The results showed that the commercial fertilizer yielded greater growth than the chicken manure. However, the chicken manure had the highest chlorophyll measurement, which meant it had more greenery and better development when compared to the other groups.
