The project is testing different types of lightbulbs that are used in the household. Some lights are often dim; this can cause minor injuries like a stubbed toe or burning into a wall, but for elderly adults, this can be a very serious matter, with some senior adults suffering major injuries. Dim lights are also not good for eyesight while reading. Through this project, we could test the intensity of different types of light by determining its illumination score.

I really like how you connected this project to making your home safer and brighter for your family. You did a great job carefully measuring and comparing each bulb, and your thinking about how to improve the experiment next time shows strong scientific growth.
This is a very fascinating project. I really enjoyed it! Your presentation skills are excellent, and I especially liked how you incorporated the mathematical equation to show how the beam spread was calculated. That’s strong scientific thinking and a great way to connect your results to the underlying physics. Overall, you put together a wonderful project. Keep up the great work!
