My project is about how different types of foods affect ant tunnel digging. I chose this project because I've always wanted an ant farm, and now I get to build my own. And ants are really cool. The result was that the group that was fed meat dug more tunnels than the sugar or fruit/veggies groups. My project is important because ants are a part of the ecosystem and it's important to understand even the smallest things to take care of the bigger things.

Cool experiment! I like the background ant photos used in your presentation. Thanks for delighting my eyes while I read about your project.
Even more importantly, your idea is provocative and promotes more scientific inquiry, which is healthy. For example, a viewer might be inspired to discover a substance which won’t entice the ants to expand, but instead repels and diverts ant colonies from our living spaces. The goal would be to find substances which disgusts ants. This is beneficial, because there could be a green solution, as opposed to using harmful chemicals to kill ants.
