Tessellations are patterns of geometric shapes that fit perfectly together. There are three types of tessellations: regular, semi-regular, and irregular. In this project we used regular and irregular tessellations. We constructed bridges using these tessellations. For our regular tessellation bridge we used a tessellating hexagonal pattern. For our irregular tesselation we used a tessellation consisting of ovals and four-sided stars.
