Snuggly In A Nest. A Young Child and their Environment Study.

Our Project is about students who dive deep into their playground surroundings and spy a nest in their own Sonoran Desert playground. Our students showed interest in nature and their environment and began to wonder how do birds use items we see to make a strong enough home to protect them? We found out what birds need to use in their environment to make a house snuggly and strong. This environment really is amazing to observe and grow up in and it is important for young children to be familiar with ways we are all connected to the environment. Engineering the safest bird nest, is a great idea for a project. It was great that you engineered nests out of the materials that you researched. It looks like you all learned so much. Great job.
Love the thought process and the way you explored in your own way!
Students, you are thinking like young scientists and young engineers! Well done getting a project accepted at SARSEF. Enjoy the experience and stay curious!
Great job. You are all great nest builders and have learned about the world around you.
