Reactive Oxygen Species Overload VS. Antioxidants

Instead of loading our bodies up with many different foods, just to get the very minimal form of antioxidants, why couldn't I just test to see which one is the most beneficial. With all the foods having many different attributions, it is hard to narrow it down, but looking at the most common, and most different ones to get basically an exact yet overall description of which antioxidants were strongest against damaged cells (reactive oxygen species). After the research conducted, berries are extremely popular, more specifically blueberries because of the many forms of vitamins and antioxidants that we need to help repair damaged cells. Thus, led me to believe that blueberries, with the greater mix of vitamins, and fibers, would result in the best overall natural antioxidant that can fight/prevent cancer the longest. Unlike the other test subjects, the other vitamins work together creating the strongest form of antioxidant supplements.

Excellent job! I love your scientific inquiry process as well as the organization of your poster.
You did an outstanding job designing a thoughtful and scientifically rigorous project. Your work shows strong curiosity, clear critical thinking, and an impressive understanding of how antioxidants relate to health and disease. I appreciate how thoroughly you researched reactive oxygen species and their connection to cancer, and how you connected your personal motivation to a meaningful scientific question. Your experimental setup was detailed, controlled, and repeatable—excellent qualities in a research investigation. It was also great to see you remain open to surprising results; instead of just confirming your hypothesis, you analyzed why vitamin C outperformed the natural foods and explained the reasoning clearly. Your ability to interpret data, consider biological mechanisms, and communicate your findings in a well‑organized way is truly impressive. This is high‑level scientific thinking, and you should be very proud of the care and purpose you brought to this project.
