The purpose of this project was to observe how Red Bull affects the health of pothos plants to show that substances that negatively impact living plants may also be harmful to living organisms, including humans. I chose this project because I wanted to show how Redbull can negatively affect a living organism's overall health. The results showed that the plants grown in water developed healthy new roots and maintained green leaves, where as the plants grown in Red Bull showed poor or no root growth with early signs of leaf discoloration. The conclusion is that the hypothesis was supported, because the pothos parents grew better in water than in red bull. My project is important because it can help other people decide to not to worsen their health.
