For this experiment, we would like to test which extraction method is the strongest, most sustainable pigment from various plants, both local and not . Our general idea for the tests are a cold water extraction, and a hot water extraction with boiling water. The samples we would like to use for our experiment are turmeric roots, dried jamacia flowers, blackberries, and mesquite powder. Some of these things we may be able to find in a grocery store and some we may be able to find by ourselves in wildlife. After pigments have been extracted from all of our samples, we will paint them on to paper to see which method created the best dye.

Loved the colors. I thought this was a fun idea and a creative way to make pigment. Great job keep it up.
