  1. What a fantastic project! You chose a real‑life problem that many people can relate to, and you explored it with curiosity and creativity. Testing different liquids to see which one removes gum best shows great scientific thinking. I love that you tried out your ideas, observed what happened, and learned from your results. Keep asking questions and exploring the world like a scientist—you’re doing amazing work!

  2. Very colorful, humorous and well researched experiment! I would have never thought that cooking oil would help remove gum from hair – that information would have helped me younger!! You complete a great discussion and interpretation review as well having a very thoughtful look at what you can research in the future! Great job!!!

  3. Great idea, topic and experiment! Keep up the good work of being a scientist and for helping kids everywhere get gum out of their hair!

  4. This is an outstanding example of systematic research. The student managed a large dataset of 13 different variables (liquids) and categorized the qualitative results (Hard, Medium, Easy) into a Bar Chart. The two-phase testing approach (solubility vs. practical application) shows an advanced understanding of experimental design. A very professional and thorough presentation!
