The purpose of this study is to investigate the practicality and implications of LGMA’s food safety standards and the impact they have on our food supply. This study is important to agriculture because farmers want to provide the safest and best quality foods at affordable prices for consumers. This study will help address this concern by determining if food safety standards are over or under protecting consumers.
