Which body of water has more bacteria, a dog beach in the Pacific Ocean or the Colorado River? In our experiment we put that to the test! We know dogs can carry lots of germs, so do they leave those germs when swimming in the dog beach? Do the dog germs create more bacteria than the bacteria found in the river water? Let's find out!

Excellent job on your project! You asked a very interesting science question and did a great job comparing water from two different places. I was impressed by how carefully you set up your test, observed the bacteria growth, and explained your results. Your project was thoughtful, organized, and showed strong curiosity about the world around you. I also liked your idea for future testing. Keep up the amazing work exploring science!
Nice project! I liked reading about your plans for future experiments to further test your hypothesis. Congratulations, scientists!
Oooh, neat project! Good thinking to decrease your variables. I wonder if samples from different parts of the river would have different amounts of bacteria. Or different beaches along the ocean!
