Every summer, while swimming, my brother and I dive for different pool toys. It's a competition, we race to get them. Something I noticed is when I dive I always miss. When I aim to hit something in my pool with a stick, I always miss. When I dive for a bigger object in my pool I get closer. If the object is small I usually almost miss. It made me wonder if the size, shaper or color mattered. I wanted to know why this was happening. Why can’t I just get/hit it? This was frustrating. It made me want to learn more.

Very good experiment to try to resolve the issue you had with missing the toys on the bottom of your pool. Do you plan to continue this project next year?
Great project – lots of good science!
