In this project, we will test different materials and their effectiveness as fertilizers. The materials we will be using are commercial fertilizer, paper towels, newspaper, construction paper, and used notebook paper. We chose this project because we believed paper would be a good fertilizer, because the plant fiber breaks down more slowly, making it a “slow release” compared to other “fast release” Fertilizers.
