The aim of scientific projects is to elucidate the unknown or give new perspectives on an aspect of our world. This is what I aim to do. The veracity of the Mpemba Effect was unknown to me, so this is what I’m testing: Does heated water freeze faster than its chilly counterpart? Or is the Mpemba Effect a hoax?
The first thing I noticed was the precision with which the experiment was performed. All the instructions for recreating the experiment are very exact and straightforward. I have respect for that kind of attention to detail and management of unwanted variables in experiments!
