More Triangles, More Load: An Investigation of Truss Bridge Design

This science fair project investigates how the number of triangles in a truss bridge design affects its strength. The goal is to determine whether a bridge built with more triangular supports can hold more weight than a bridge with fewer triangles. By constructing and testing different truss models, the project measures how much mass each design can support before failing. The results demonstrate how triangles contribute to structural stability and strength in bridge engineering.
