This project reimagines Morocco as Moonlight City in 2125, and demonstrates how to restore a city’s ecosystem through a circular economy, ecological designs, producing a reliable, clean water supply, and innovative food packaging and agricultural production. Over the past school year, we have participated in multiple STEM competitions, and many of them were connected to protecting the environment and people living in cities. Through these experiences, we learned that innovative engineering, improved infrastructure, smarter systems, and sustainable practices can help reduce food waste, the environment, and keep people healthy and safe. Keywords: farm-to-table, circular agriculture, 5-star water system, food waste, agro-forestry, solar energy, mycelium walls, waste management, and biosensors.

  1. Very impressive regarding the amount of research done for this project. You presented many innovations that are on the cusp or have recently been developed. What would be your next step to improve this project?

  2. This project expresses a creative integration of historical elements (Great Medina Wall) with futuristic technology (mycelium panels, hyperloop tunnels, incinerator toilets).
