Miswak vs toothbrush My project is about miswak vs toothbrush My project will see which is better the toothbrush from plastic or miswak from nature.Miswak is a root in which have been proven to clean the teeth. The enamel is the outside of the teeth so We can see what the miswak does to it.The enamel can get discolored from us eating food or from virus that goes to the teeth and eats is that makes it discolored. Can Miswaks clean your teeth better than a toothbrush? If I use a miswak instead of a toothbrush for cleaning teeth we will achieve better teeth. Dip the tiles in coffee then do one week with miswak.Than Toothbrush then check which one is cleaner and the experiment is done. The trends with the miswak and toothbrush is that the toothbrush is always above the miswak either 1 or 2 shade away from the miswak. This means that the miswak is better. The miswak and the toothbrush kept decreasing which is a good sign in brushing your teeth. After conducting the experiment we should switch to miswak. My hypothesis was indeed correct.I guessed that the miswak will work better.

  1. Congratulations on this interesting and culturally meaningful project. Your study highlights the potential benefits of using miswak, a natural dental cleaning tool, and compares it thoughtfully with a traditional plastic toothbrush. The results suggest that miswak may provide strong cleaning effects, offer valuable insight and encourage further research into natural alternatives for oral hygiene. Science cannot wait for what you have to experiment with and validate in the future. Wishing you all the best in your science research and exploration.

  2. Great project comparing traditional miswak and a modern toothbrush for cleaning teeth. I liked how you used coffee staining and a shade scale to measure how clean the surfaces became over several days. Your data table and graph clearly showed that the miswak produced lighter shades than the toothbrush in your experiment. This project connects science with everyday dental health in a creative way.

  3. What a great experiment! I am a dental hygienist and I learned more about miswak from this experiment! The results showed that miswak can clean teeth better than the modern toothbrush, I may have to try it!

  4. Congratulations on your experiment Alan! I learned a lot from this really cool and interesting project, I would have never guessed that miswak would work better after all! Amazing job!!!!!

  5. Wow! What a remarkable project. Alan, it is clear you put in a lot of hard work into this. You did a great job with all the data and the presentation was very clear and colorful to pull in your audience. Overall, great job! A project based on the human body, particularly the teeth is very interesting and hopefully everyone can take something away from this since our teeth are such an essential part to us.

  6. I didn’t know that Miswak could do so much, this is very interesting! Good work on the research.
