My project is about creating a device that helps me remember to take my daily medication without having my parents remind me everyday. I reason I chose this project was so I could create a system that helps my working memory. The result of my project was successful in helping me remember my daily medication. This project is important because it helps manage my ADHD symptoms and encourages more independence.

This is an outstanding real world engineering project that addresses an important health challenge. I especially appreciate how you clearly explained the problem of working memory difficulties with ADHD (pages 2-4) and connected your design to research about executive functioning and routines (pages 4-6). That shows strong background understanding. Your design process (page 7) was thoughtful and systematic, and I was impressed by how you tested your device over 21 days (page 10). Recording that you missed only 1 dose demonstrates measurable impact. The prototype evaluation (page 11) shows honest reflection about weaknesses, and your redesign using CAD and a 3D printer (page 12) demonstrates excellent iterative engineering thinking. This invention is meaningful because it solves a real problem using a simple but clever behavioral cue linking medication to the snooze button. You clearly applied research about externalizing memory into a practical solution.
This project shows creativity, problem-solving, persistence, and real-world application.
Excellent work you are thinking like an engineer and an innovator!
Well done, a great project with a clear application. I hope this will improve your life! Thank you for sharing
This is a very meaningful engineering project that solves a real problem many people with ADHD face. I especially liked that you used the engineering design process by creating a prototype, identifying weaknesses, and redesigning the device using CAD and 3D printing. Your 21-day test showed that the device helped improve consistency with medication. In the future, you could strengthen the project by testing the device with additional users or comparing it with other reminder methods. Excellent work creating a practical and thoughtful solution!
