Lightbulb Temperatures

Energy and Change

My project tested different lightbulb temperatures to see which gave off the most and least heat. I am interested in energy and how electricity works. I am also interested in how to conserve energy. Incandescent lightbulbs run the hottest and use the most energy. It is very hot in Arizona and people should know how much heat the light inside their house are putting out.

  1. Your ability to discover this knowledge at your age makes your work interesting. Great job with the design, method and presentation. The project appears to be something you care so much about and this is evident in your presentation. I encourage you to keep pushing and you could end up finding solutions to some of the world’s problem.

  2. I learned something new from your project about how incandescent bulbs use metal heated to very high temperatures to produce light. That was a very interesting detail and shows how carefully you researched your topic. Keep up the great work
