We know that stress is harmful to human mental and heart health. When someone is stressed, their blood pressure goes up. I feel calm when I hug my cats. So, does hugging a cat lower blood pressure?

Well done! I love all the cat pictures you included. I wish my cat would let me hug her for 1 minute, but she has a mind of her own. Wonderful work, thank you for sharing!
Very good research and deep understanding of the subject, keep up the good work.
This was a truly delightful and well-executed project! I was impressed by how you took a simple, relatable observation that hugging your cat makes you feel calm and turned it into a formal, data-driven experiment. Your methodology was sound, and testing multiple participants provided the data necessary to support your conclusion. I was particularly impressed by your scientific integrity in your lab journal; noting how being scratched by the cat affected your data and discussing why your control group’s blood pressure changed shows high-level critical thinking. It is clear you have a strong grasp of the scientific process. Excellent work!
