My project is about building and testing a LEGO bed. I chose this project because I wanted to see if it was possible to build a bed out of Lego's that could hold my weight. I made a small scale 1/30 section of the entire bed could hold 53 kilograms. My projects is important because in the future we may want to look for alternative materials to make beds and other furniture. Perhaps we could design materials to be interlocking like legos.
This project demonstrates impressive engineering thinking and persistence. You approached this challenge like a real engineer — defining a clear goal, testing your design, identifying weaknesses, and improving it when the first version failed. That process of redesign and refinement is exactly how real engineering works.
Your systematic load testing and careful documentation show strong problem-solving skills. What stands out most is not simply that the LEGO structure held weight, but that you continued testing until you understood its limits and observed when failure occurred. That kind of curiosity and determination is outstanding.
