Diabetes is a growing health crisis in the United States, affecting approximately 29.7 million individuals. The question for this study was simple: Can Natural Supplements Help Regulate Blood in Patients with Prediabetes? The experiments tested this by using glucose and plant powders with dextrose to see if they could reduce the amount of glucose after a set amount of time. The results were promising, as they showed that some of the supplements, including cinnamon, fenugreek, bitter melon, and berbine, had greater potential to lower your blood sugar. These results suggested that the combination of the plant powders might be better for people to take when diagnosed with prediabetes or high blood sugar.

  1. I love that you included images of the petri dishes! It is so cool to actually see the results rather than just read about them. Same thing with your glucose test strips; sometimes it’s better to see it than read it. This is a great idea that could help a lot of people maintain their blood sugar when they know they are prediabetic on top of a diet change. Any benefit, even if small, is still a benefit!
