This project investigated which color of light attracts the most insects at night by comparing the number of insects drawn to different colored lights, such as blue and red. The insects near each light source were counted and the results were analyzed to determine patterns. The findings showed that blue light attracted the most insects, possibly because insects are more sensitive to shorter wavelengths like blue light. This project is important because understanding how light color affects insect behavior can help people choose lighting that reduces pests around homes, improves outdoor comfort, and may even decrease the spread of insect-related problems.

Great idea, because everyone would love to know how to decrease the number of bugs in our lives! Your experimental design creatively addressed the problem, followed scientific protocol, and offered a viable solution.
Your project shines in other ways as well.
First, your presentation is clear, well organized and visually appealing.
Next, the repetition of conducting five trails shows your dedication to obtaining reliable data.
Finally, you showed confidence and extra effort by including a paper as well. Advanced scientific research will be published which requires honing your writing skills, and you tackled this now while still in elementary school. Impressive!
Good idea and workup! I would suggest comparing a white LED bulb to contrast with the colored bulbs and serve as a control. Do keep experimenting!
