This project is about the effects that different liquids and densities have on ice. I chose the project to learn why ice melts more quickly in some drinks than others. The result was that sugary drinks melted ice cubes more slowly, and the lower the density, the slower the heat transfer was. This project is important because it helped me understand why glaciers melt from the bottom first.
