This is a continuation project, so my results from last year gave me a new reason to continue testing my question. Last year, I found that vision DID affect perception of taste when first graders were asked to test clear popsicles. This made me want to continue the project with a new experiment setup where I test the same question again, but with incorrectly colored popsicles instead of clear.

Your continuation project is brilliant! By testing incorrectly colored popsicles, you proved that our eyes often ‘overrule’ our tongues. Testing 24 participants gives your data a lot of authority.
Really well done project continuation with results that quite positively answered your query “does vision affect taste” . Your methodology of switching plates and order were quite good and another continuation is definitely in order!
Your project was exceptionally well-organized! Testing a large group of 24 participants shows a lot of dedication, and your use of artificial dye to mismatch colors and flavors was a very clever way to test your hypothesis. great job!
