This experiment went well. Some of the problems were we had fish die and be eaten or even pregnant. One of the fish struggled to give birth and we were not sure it would stay alive. We ran out of pH strips and had to change the brand. We wanted to do this because we all wanted to help fish. We really enjoyed this project and learned a lot. Our final outcome was that the pH of the water does change due to the amount of fish.

  1. Well done designing a very clear and organized experiment! You were both thoughtful and careful about limiting variables (I’m impressed that you washed the plants!), and I appreciate your honesty about fish death, pregnancy, and the change in test strips. I also think you did a wonderful job of brainstorming how you might redesign your experiment in the future to limit your variables even further.
    Great job!
