How do different types of liquid affect the time it takes for ice to melt?

My project is about how long it takes for ice to melt in different liquids. I chose this project because I was interested in learning more about melting points and freezing points and how ice was affected by different liquids. The results showed salt water took the least amount of time and cold water took the longest time to melt ice. This information could be useful in daily life because people can use the results to better understand strategies to melt ice the fastest and use that during the winter months.
