How Different Arrow Tips Affect Accuracy and Penetration?

My project is about a question I asked is does metal vs obsidian arrow tips differ in penetration and accuracy. Another thing I wanted to know is how the wound channels impact penetration as for broadheads a good chunk of their purpose is to penetrate into an animal or in wars an enemy then create a wound channel to make the wound bleed more thus killing quicker. I choose this project because I was interested in learning more about the differences between the two and some things i really wanted to know and sorta knew or thought i knew and put them to the test. My results were field tips being their bullet like design penetrated right through our target, a pumpkin, while the metal broad penetrated 9 inches and the obsidian's arrow head penetrated 9 to 9.75 inches. This project is important because for bowhunters whom use recurve maybe want to use this as an extra challenge or also because it proves that sometimes old technology is as good as the new.
