Here Comes the Sun

In Module 5 of HMH our essential question was: Why do light and dark come and go? This question led us to further discussions of day and night, shadows, the Earth’s rotation and its revolution around the sun, and the four seasons of the year. Then we began thinking specifically about the weather where we live here in Arizona, and how for most of the year we get hot temperatures with lots of sun! We were wondering about different ways to beat the heat!
