My project was about osmosis. I chose this project because it seemed like a fun idea to learn about osmosis. Plain water was the liquid that made the gummy bears grow the most. Osmosis is an important part of life, especially with helping plants grow.

  1. I liked how you tested five different liquids and repeated the experiment three times. That shows strong scientific effort and careful work. Your results were very clear, and I like that you calculated the average growth for each liquid. That helps make your conclusion stronger. I appreciate that you explained when your hypothesis was only partially correct. Real scientists learn from results that surprise them. Moreover, you carefully measured and recorded your data across multiple experiments and clearly compared your results.

  2. Great job! You had multiple trials with averaged results and this shows persistence and good scientific habits for a Grade 5 project!
