This project was all about how gummy bears grew depending in the liquid they were in. This experiment had four different types of liquids: -59 ml of water and ¼ of salt in water, ¼ sugar in water, and ¼ of vinegar in water. In each type of liquid, there was a gummy bear inside for 24 hours. After 24 hours, the gummy bear in salt water grew the least compared to the other gummy bears. Next, it was the gummy bear in sugar water. Then, the gummy bear in water. Finally, the gummy bear in vinegar with water was the one to grow the most.

  1. The organisation and interpretation of your data were nicely done. Your project demonstrates significant creativity in design, method and presentation.

  2. This is so fun! I have done this experiment several times with my class and we have found that even the brand of gummy bears impacts the amount that the different liquids cause it to grow. Try the Haribo brand one of these times and compare your results!
