Our projecy was about finding out what levels of bacteria lived in different water sources from around Tucson. We chose this project because we were curious about what water would be safe to drink. Our overall conclusion for this project was that the 49ers Golf Course pond holds the most bacteria while Tucson tape water holds the least. This projects is important because having an idea of the levels of bacteria in different water sources can help keep you healthy and safe.

  1. Your project provides a valuable investigation into the bacterial content of various water sources around Tucson, highlighting important public health considerations. You demonstrated solid scientific methods by collecting diverse samples, carefully culturing bacteria, and monitoring growth over time. Your additional testing of water chemistry adds depth to your analysis. Your work raises awareness about water safety in your community and encourages responsible water use—great job!
